Watch Invictus Launch:
Following the recent successful launch of BAR Vehicle 2, BAR has proven itself as a reliable launch system in its stock configuration. It has demonstrated two successful parachute landings and flown on both D and E class motors. Therefore, we are ready to move on to our next BAR generation!
BAR XL
BAR XL is our second generation and multistage BAR that will likely become our first fully successful multistage vehicle to fly. The first stage uses an E12-0 and the second stage uses a D12-7. The first BAR XL wil be constructed with a shortened BAR Vehicle 2 and BAR Vehicle 3. Using a flown BAR ensures that at least one part of the rocket is sound and helps to increase chances of success during launch.
BAR XL may fly as early as June, 2025.
